Important: the first box “autoreply” must be off if you like to activate it later, at a specific date (see below). Otherwise, the auto responder is immediately activated. 

Starting and end of auto responder: select “on” on the box “automatic start” und fill in the date of starting and the date of end. How to do it correctly? If you are away from December 24th till January 3rd, put as starting date December 24th but as ending date January 4th.
